Fab Friday – Smashbox Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer

Guys.

This is BY FAR my best beauty find of the year.

I am sure you have all heard, but matte lipsticks are super it right now. I have jumped on the bandwagon for a few reasons. First, I simply like the way they look. Second, I feel like they set a little dry (in a good way) and smudge/wear off a whole lot less than traditional lipstick. A good lipstick is a lifesaver on a day you need to dress up your outfit, and matte lip is bound to leave you looking super trendy!

Well, this magical little product appeared in my IPSY glam bag one month, and I am ADDICTED.

It is made by Smashbox and it called “Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer”. What does it do? it turns ANY average lipstick into a super posh matte one! You just apply any old lipstick, then put the Smashbox transformer on top and voila! Matte lips just like that.

Any downfalls? It is a little expensive at $24 a tube. HOWEVER, in my opinion it is totally worth it! How many boring, average lipsticks do you have hanging around your bathroom? A lot, I bet! This product allows you to transform all of them into a matte lipstick, which I feel really breathes some life back into your makeup lineup, and makes old lipsticks more modern.

Try it girls, you will love it!!!
