Benson Vineyards

When staying on Lake Chelan, Wapato Point is one of the happening areas to be… if you have ever heard of the city of Manson, this is where Wapato is. There are shops, a few restaurants, and of course, plenty of wineries! I feel like the wineries on this side of the lake really win at activities, especially Benson Vineyards!

When you are coming around the tip of the lake (downtown Chelan) towards Manson, Benson is one of the first vineyards you will pass on your right. The estate is perched up on a hill looking over the vineyards and has a stellar view of their vines and the lake.

The tasting room itself is small, but the patio and lawn area are massive! You can tell that these people want to throw a party. Our first time attending there was live music under the pagoda and people galore. I took my daughter who was just over a year old down to the grass and we danced forever!

One thing I found very different about this winery is that they do not have a wine club… all you have to do is sign up for their email list to get all their discounts and special event invites. This is great for someone interested in a deal on wine, but not necessarily wanting to spend hundreds of dollars on a wine club.

Benson Vineyards is open (seasonally) daily from 11am to 5pm, and you can find more information on their winery HERE! If you are looking for a classy place to lounge for a few hours and enjoy a bottle with friends, I would absolutely try Benson Vineyards in Manson, WA!

From the roundabout entryway, you can’t tell that the building actually sits stories high in the back.
The view is you are approaching the front door. The Cascades looking beautiful!
The tasting bar inside
A view off the back patio of their lawn and entertainment area. Check their website for events and live music dates/times!
A view looking from inside the tasting room onto the back deck overlooking the vineyards. A breathtaking view!
