My tips on how to take your own monthly milestone pictures of your baby - trust me that you will not regret having tons of precious pictures of your little one that will last you a lifetime! These are simple to do on your own... no professional photographer required!
Routine is important to families, but it also can feel mundane sometimes. Here are some of my ideas as how to spice up an ordinary night at home and make life a little more fun!
The #1 Mom Hack to get your toddler potty trained! Are you ready to hear the BIG POTTY TRAINING SECRET that worked for us to get our toddler toilet trained? It's actually not a secret at all, but still worth reading 🙂 Good luck with the potty training struggle mommas, I totally feel you!
Mommy and me toddler ballet class - where your kid runs in circles around the dance studio as you awkwardly try to do moves you aren't limber enough to with the other moms, who are all annoyed at how their kid is behaving....
Fake sleeping in the same room as your kid to get them to fall asleep - I think EVERY parent has done this. Haven't you seen that viral video of the mom fake sleeping on her toddler's nursery floor, then crawling out slowly after her kid passes out? The move is pretty standard, but sadly for me my toddler has not only figured out that I am faking it, but has a strategy to get me to crack too. You can't just break formation in front of a toddler like that!!! The bed time struggle is so real right now... please tell me there are other toddler moms out there who are on the struggle bus too!
This was our first Father's Day as a family, so I was determined to make it an extra special one! Included in this post are DIY instructions on how to make this super cute and easy onesie and tutu, and also details of how we spent our Father's Day in Seattle with friends! It all was so much fun!
When I learned that adult coloring was a new fad, I really didn't try hard at all to resist! I love to color for stress and anxiety relief, and just for fun too. Lost Ocean coloring book is one of the first I tried and I love it!
I am actually skipping a post today, I just wanted to come on here and wish all my mommy blogger friends a lovely Mother's Day! You are all wonderful! I am very thankful for my daughter who made me a mommy and fills my life with laughter and joy every day! ♥️
How do you prepare your dog for life with a new baby? This can be particularly difficult, especially in instances like ours where we had our dog for YEARS before having a kid, and she had limited exposure to children beforehand. My daughter is over two years old now and we are STILL working on this transition, but are doing much better than we initially were. I hope that our story helps you in your journey to get your dog to like your baby after spending a long time as your "only child".
