Dining out in Manson, WA at Blueberry Hills Farm

I consider myself somewhat of an expert on things to do in Lake Chelan, so the fact that I JUST discovered Blueberry Hills Farm this summer has me tragically upset. We do a minimum of 2-3 Chelan trips a year and always make a point to dine out at least once or twice a trip. Having stayed in many areas, the Manson side has been my favorite as of late due to the proximity of everything – grocery stores, wineries, parks, places to eat can all be walking distance if you are staying in the Wapato Point area. Even if you are not right in town, there is still a solid list of things to do within a 5-10 minute drive.

Well this last trip my friend mentioned they wanted to do a breakfast/brunch at Blueberry Hills Farm and my first thought was: THERE IS A BRUNCH SPOT IN CHELAN I HAVE NOT HEARD ABOUT?!?! And then of course my second thought was we HAD to eat there.

Seriously, those pies!
And that view!

To our pleasure this cute little hideout was right around the corner from our vacation rental, so the drive was absolutely minimal. It is a sit down restaurant, but not one with wait staff – it is reminiscent of modern fast-casual places where you wait in line to order then your food is brought to your table when ready. They are only open for breakfast and lunch (8am-3pm) so an ideal brunch spot. The view is a perfect vineyard hills lookout and they have a large back porch you can dine out on.

In regards to food, it is surely on the greasy spoon side with options like Eggs Benedict or chicken fried steak with a big pile of hash browns. While you are waiting in line there is a strategically placed bakery where you can stare at their jumbo pies and muffins until you decide to take one home. My daughter actually had one of their muffins for breakfast and on its own it was more than enough to sustain her the whole morning. The location is extremely close to a few notable wineries such as Tildio and Four Lakes Winery, in addition to all the tasting rooms downtown.

Farmers breakfast for me… so yum
And chicken fried steak for the hubs

If you are staying in the Manson/Wapato Point area and want a great brekkie with a view, I would absolutely recommend Blueberry Hills Farm!
