I feel like Novelty Hill Januik is one of the easier wineries to find when tasting in Woodinville… their large modern cement building really makes a statement from the road. We have tasted here many times in the past, and always enjoy our visit.
Note that Novelty Hill and Januik are technically two different wineries and wine makers, who have partnered to share one beautiful tasting room experience!
Their list of wines to taste is robust, but I especially love them for the events they plan. On Wednesdays they feature live music while you taste from 5pm-8pm, along with specials on certain wines by the glass. This spring for their Rose release, they planned a special event called the “Rose Cafe”, where for $22 you get a reserved table, bottle of Rose, and small bites (they have wonderful woodfired pizza) delivered to your table! They did complimentary wine tastings for moms on Mother’s Day… the list just goes on! I would absolutely subscribe to their events calendar on their website.
Their patio is lovely and even has a cute fireplace with couches to cozy up on, and they have a full-size bocce ball court you are welcome to take advantage of! Their patio is huge and is a perfect place to relax on a hot summer day.
I’ms a sucker for a cute little winery gift shop! I loved all the Northwest Indian Decor throughout too. I did a white flight and my husband did the reds, and we enjoyed them both. It was only $10 for a tasting!

This looks like a great place to try out. I need to find some wine-loving mama’s for a wine date there!! I know I’d enjoy this for an afternoon mum date with little’s in tow. Love that you took your toddler!
