This weekend in the U.S. seems to be the weekend everyone takes off for their last hurrah of summer family vacation. Pretty much everyone I know is headed in one direction or another to soak up some sun before it’s time to start getting in the back to school mindset.
We are no exception to the rule, as I am typing this in the car on the way to Lake Chelan!! With its crystal blue glacial lake and hot dry temps, Chelan is one of my favorite places in Washington, and is my monthly feature on my blog for August!
If I am slow to respond to your comments, it is because I am likely without cell service, or swimming in the lake 😉
I plan to take lots of pictures and bring you more content on some of the fun things to in Chelan. In case you have missed any of my other Chelan posts, here are some of the hi-lights of where we will be and what I have shared so far!
Siren Song Winery
Brunch at Sorrentos
Dinner out at Campbell’s Pub and Veranda
Safe travels if you are also on the road this weekend and I will be back with a super delicious “Meatless Monday” recipe for you next week!

What a fab place to spend a weekend. OMG the eggs bene look scrumptious! Will you stay for the eclipse? Safe travels and peaceful adventures.~cheers
It is such a gorgeous location. Nothing but warm temps, crystal blue lake and dessert hills. We came back today and watched the eclipse from our rooftop at work! What about you? I was shocked at how cold it got – very cool!
Yes, very cool. We watched on the telly and from our veranda. I didn’t feel too much of a temp change here. Oh I bet from your roof top was awesome. Welcome back! Glad your travels were gorgeous.
Looks amazing
