As a person, I go stir-crazy easily. I think I am a home-body, but if I spend more than a few days at home without doing anything or going anywhere I start to get anxious and am ready for the next adventure. Somehow, I had two little girls who are exactly like this too!

Since we enjoy being out and about as a family, we plan a trip about every 2-3 weeks. Most often they are little 2-3 day trips on weekends, or even just overnight somewhere if we simply really need to get out. Living in the beautiful state of Washington, there is so much wilderness to explore, so often times we will try a new State Park, lake, or destination we have heard buzz about. We have family scattered about the United States, so for longer trips you might find us in California, New York, or anywhere we decide to meet up really!

We are believers in trying to share as many experiences with your kids as possible, so both our girls have been traveling with us since an early age. I am no expert at it, but have picked up some tips, tricks, and really neat destinations along the way, and when I can, I share them with you!
