Amavi Cellars is a beautiful, modern winery located on the South Side of Walla Walla’s wine country. As we were tasting around on our last day on our weekend trip in Eastern Washington, we kept asking what would be a perfect ‘last stop’ for the day. Amavi was suggested a few times, especially since they are known for their views, and we were nearing sunset.

They are perched perfectly on the top of the hill with a deck that overlooks the valley. Apparently their view is such a staple, that they have little buckets of giveaway “Amavi” sunglasses sitting on their wine tasting counters, and their deck is full of chairs so you can sit outside, sip and enjoy the sunset.
When we tasted, they seemed to have more of a red-heavy lineup, but still had one white (the Semillion) which was a very nicely done summer white. The Cab Franc Rose was delicious too. I had never heard of Amavi before, but after this trip I noticed their bottles all over the top shelves of our local grocery stores!
A benefit of visiting Amavi (aside from the good wine and beautiful view) is that this is a very densely populated area of wineries, so you can hop to the next easily from here. Northstar Winery and Saviah are two very close by that I would highly recommend!

Thanks for sharing your Walla Walla experience! I’m planning a trip this summer! xoxo
It is so much fun! I photographed my favorite wineries as I tasted and I think it will take me months to get through blogging them there are so many good ones! Be sure to have dinner at Brasserie Four while you are there… amazing!!
I <3 Amavi! I discovered them and featured them in my guide to Walla Walla on my blog. Good find!
Ill have to check out your guide! I am working on putting one together now. There are SOOOO many good wineries out there that I decided to blog about each of them individually and once I got to the end of my list I would put together a big Walla Walla post wrapping it all together.
Love that old Chevy 😍
Isn’t it so cool?!
It is. I’m a Chevy girl at heart. Sorry fans of the “others” lol
