2020 was a hard year - so many families coped by finding new ways to enjoy more time safely enjoying nature, and we for sure were one of them! This is the start of the story of our RV purchase, and our goals to sustainably furnish it and bring this old gem back to life.
We love to get outdoors as a family, but adding a baby to our life obviously adds a little complication to things... there is so much to pack, carry, assemble, and so on! We decided to take our littlest on her first camping trip this summer but were only brave enough to do so in cabins. Lake Chelan is an incredible place to enjoy your summer vacation! With a big beautiful lake and hot climates, it is no surprise that many people in Western Washington flock there. However, Chelan can be quite the quiet town in winter. Brassierie Four is a French restaurant in Walla Walla that absolutely blew us out of the water with the experience on our first visit. The food and service were incredible and we will come back every time we visit Walla Walla for sure!
If you are ever passing through Washington D.C. as you travel, I would absolutely STOP and tourist! This is all we were able to accomplish in a quick 4-hour visit. Everything is so close that you can comfortably walk to all of these landmarks, even with only a short amount of time!
