Charles Smith is a winemaker out of Walla Walla Washington who produces a diverse lineup of fabulous wines. His "Charles Smith Wines" line includes a handful of very easy and affordable wines, and his Kung Fu Girl Riesling is my favorite for summer sipping. I don't know how it took us so long to discover this BEAUTIFUL winery on Lake Chelan, but I am so glad we gave them a chance! We visited Siren Song on a trip to Lake Chelan in the spring and were absolutely enamored by the ambiance, entertainment, views, and of course the wine! More details and where exactly to find them included in the details of this post. Cheers!
JM Cellars in Woodinville is a beautiful winery that offers a stunning ambiance and delicious wines! I love JM since they feel much more personal compared to some of the larger wineries in the area. This is on my must-visit list if you are searching to try one of the best wineries in Woodinville!
Amavi Cellars is a must visit when checking out the south side of Walla Walla. One of their most notable features is their big deck perfect for watching the sunset... amazing views!
L'Ecole No. 41 is one of my favorite wineries in Washington State! They are located in Eastern Washington just outside of Walla Walla, and are well established as one of the older and accomplished vineyards in the area. Their Reisling and Luminesce are two of my favorite white wines for sipping, and their Estate Perigee and Syrah are two beautiful reds that I love to hang onto for a special occasion!
Seven Hills Winery in Walla Walla is one of the older and more respected wineries in the area. Their tasting room is located in an easily accessible location in downtown Walla Walla, walking distance from the Marcus Whitman Hotel and dozens of other wineries to taste at. They feature Bordeaux style reds and we enjoyed every sip we tasted. Truly, a must-visit while you are enjoying Walla Walla wine country!
The Lobo Hills PGR is a delicious and versatile floral and citrusy white wine. Coming from the Yakima Valley which is one of Washington's wine country areas, this is something I absolutely recommend you try!
