Of course, it is great to find a winery that makes good wine, but I think it is a real gem to find one that has beautiful ambiance to enjoy while sipping!
JM Cellars is located in Woodinville Wine Country, and in my opinion, is one of the prettiest wineries to taste at in the area. We frequent this winery, and have been pleased with all of our visits!
At JM you will find a beautiful, modern house tucked back up a hill. There are several rooms to taste at, and we have even ran into the owner/winemaker John several times as he was there to offer barrel tastings. I love the more personal feel of this winery!
Their wines are delicious, which is backed up by the fact that there is a waiting list to join their wine club, and the parking lot has gotten so busy that they now offer complimentary valet for guests on weekends. For reds, my favorite is the Syrah, and for whites, my choice is the Viogner.
My visit was in early spring, so I am sure that trees and flowers weren’t in full bloom, so I hope that my pictures don’t do the winery an injustice. Next time you are out tasting in Woodinville, make sure to give JM Cellards a try!

This spot looks great! It makes me want to explore some wineries in my area xx.
Looks like fun. I love wine tastings and went to some in Napa and Sonoma.
I have never been to a winery before. This looks so beautiful. I really want to go to one now. x
You should! I enjoy wine a lot more now that I visit wineries. It gives you the opportunity to learn their history which often times is very interesting… I have met owners and wine makers and other really cool people! I would definitely suggest it if you have the chance 😊
This is such a beautiful winery. I’m going to add this to my list of Woodinville places to try.
It is even prettier in real life! My rainy day pictures don’t do it justice. A very classy place.
Since moving to Sacramento, CA, I have been enjoying wine a lot more. We are a couple of hours from the Napa Valley, but the Sacramento wines a much more affordable and super tasty as well.
That’s awesome! I love napa so much but it is very expensive!
