Trying new recipes is the thing to do right now, apparently! But honestly, why not? For us non-essential workers, we are no longer commuting and have hours of extra at-home time right now, even if working a full day at home. So why not take that extra time and turn it into something delicious, like this Monkey Bread recipe? I know you guys have that Costco stock of bulk yeast and flour, haha! Have fun!
Before this recipe, I had NEVER made or tried Monkey Bread before. I honestly had no idea what it was all about! I can't say I have figured out where the name came about, but what I CAN say is I now know why everyone swears this is such an addicting dessert! It is relatively simple and requires more patience while your dough rises than anything else. I hope you give this monkey bread a try and decide to catalog it away in your cookbooks "best of" section. I really love it that much! #dessert #baking #bestrecipe #monkeybread
Christmas dinner in our house is a big deal. We spend a good amount of time and money making sure to prepare a special meal that is as special as the holiday and time spent with family. This year, we made a Prime Rib and tried something new for us - Yorkshire Pudding!

This one we tried was a vanilla blueberry, and the base was so creamy I am sure we will use it for many other recipes to come! Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe and KitchenAid ice cream attachment info both in this post!
I have a Martha Stewart crutch when it comes to baking... when I am looking for a recipe I tend to just gravitate towards looking one up on her website since I know it will be great. Ree Drummond too... I just feel like she always nails it, but they leave me forgetting to check …
This sour cream coffee cake is an absolute win for entertaining. This can absolutely impress as a brunch item, or is a fabulous recipe to use around the holidays. This cake is extremely easy and can be dressed up a little more with a fancy bundt pan. It is so moist and flavorful. The sour cream blends in and adds a savory side to compliment the sweet just perfectly!
