Trying new recipes is the thing to do right now, apparently! But honestly, why not? For us non-essential workers, we are no longer commuting and have hours of extra at-home time right now, even if working a full day at home. So why not take that extra time and turn it into something delicious, like this Monkey Bread recipe? I know you guys have that Costco stock of bulk yeast and flour, haha! Have fun!
Before this recipe, I had NEVER made or tried Monkey Bread before. I honestly had no idea what it was all about! I can't say I have figured out where the name came about, but what I CAN say is I now know why everyone swears this is such an addicting dessert! It is relatively simple and requires more patience while your dough rises than anything else.
