I can’t believe that I am writing my July recap already – this summer is simply flying by!
Well, July is just a crazy month for me. My posts have been much fewer than usual, mostly because I am at the time of year where I am just working my butt off. Weather here in Seattle this month is simply beautiful and we are loving it!
Great weather at work means selling lots of beautiful boats too, and lots of time on the water. The weekend before 4th of July was a mad house – I couldn’t believe how busy we were! It was quite honestly so busy that I vetoed going anywhere for the 4th… I was simply too tired. We BBQ’ed at home and friends/family joined us and it was just right. I had some guilt about not taking my daughter to see fireworks, forgetting that ALL our neighbors put on an amazing show, so we didn’t end up missing out on those at all!
This month was mostly boating, blogging, and soaking up the sun. Now that my busy season is wrapping up, I have LOTS to look forward to in August since this is the time of year we get to relax and let loose a little more.
For starters, we are headed to Roche Harbor this weekend for a work trip with a side of fun. If you have never seen or heard of Roche Harbor before, it is one of the absolute gems of Washington State. It is located on an Island in the San Juans, and is the most quintessential harbor town you can think of. It is relatively exclusive because it is easiest to boat there… the only other way in is on a ferry or sea plane, so it is a little more off-the-map than other scenic/historic locations in the Northwest.

Well, in case you missed it, here are what I felt like were my 3 best posts of July:
Williams-Sonoma Blueberry Crumble Pie… to die for!
Meatless Mondays are Back! Black Bean Torta w/Coconut Chipolte Mayo from Thug Kitchen
DIY Project – Handmade Wedding Seating Chart turned into Toddler Activity Chalk Board!
Looking forward to August, I want to get back on the wagon with more regular posts, since this month I was so busy and missed a lot of my #MeatlessMondays and #FabFridays. Since we will be in Chelan, I plan to bring you a post or two a week about this beautiful destination for Northwest U.S. readers. Lastly, I have made a goal to do more fashion posts on my insta, so make sure to follow me there!
Hope everyone is having a great summer, and thank you so much for reading!!

Thank you! It was SUPER busy and I am a little sun-burnt, but it was fun!
Gorgeous pictures! And have you changed the look of your blog? I love it!
Thank you so much! I changed the layout back in spring but I have committed myself to only posting something if I have good quality pictures I took myself to back it up. I think it is helping my general look quite a bit. Thank you so much for stopping by to take a look!
