Newly opened in the city of Bellevue, Meydenbauer Bay Park is a gorgeous family-friendly spot to spend a sunny day. We went for the morning to scout out the freshly remodeled waterfront area and found so much fun there for all!
The boating scene is an incredible part of the lifestyle here in the greater Seattle Area. Not only are we lucky to be surrounded by the Puget Sound, but right in the middle of our city sits Lake Union which boasts beautiful waterfront views and places to dine out. Lucky for us boaters, Lake Union has some restaurant gems that feature docks for boaters to pull up to, so you can enjoy a meal or cocktail by water. On this outing we launched our Cobalt R5 in Bellevue and motored over to Lake Union for brunch at Westward Seattle.
Being an East Coast transplant in Seattle, I get visitors out here a lot. Whether it is my sister coming to visit for the weekend, or a friend from high school only passing through on a layover to Hawaii San Francisco, taking people touristing is a pretty normal part of my life. One of our favorite brunch spots: Ivar's Salmon House on Lake Union, Seattle. We enjoyed brioche french toast, fresh crab legs, an omelette bar... and bottomless mimosas of course!
