My Seattle (end of) Summer Bucket List

Summer is coming to an end, but it isn't over yet! I am a big goal writer - if you write it down on a list that you can check off I think you are so much more likely to do it. So, I am writing down my summer bucket list, the last few items I want to do here in the northwest before summer is over!

Enjoying the 4th of July in Bellevue, stay-cation style!

Holidays are always so fun spent with family, but when you have little kids it sure can be stressful! Especially when you add in long travel and wait times to the equation. So, this year for the 4th of July we decided to try a fun staycation in downtown Bellevue to enjoy the festivities and fireworks at close range. We booked a hotel room, walked to the park, swam and ate our hearts out! How to Stay Safe This SeaFair Weekend

Let me start by saying that SeaFair weekend is one of my most favorite weekends of the year here in the Northwest. There is nothing more majestic than watching the Blue Angels ZOOM over Seattle with Mount Rainier in the background. However, this almost 100 degree weather forecasted for Sea Fair weekend has me a little nervous. Here is my easy 4-step list of ways to keep you and your friends safe this Sea Fair weekend.
