Pumpkin picking is a favorite fall tradition for me... there is nothing better than putting on some big old mud boots and a big sweater and heading to the farm to pick out your own pumpkins to carve! This year we tried Bob's Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch in Snohomish WA and had a blast!
Have you ever wondered what the benefit is to donating to Goodwill centers, aside from the ability to clean out your garage? I just had an incredibly eye-opening experience where I was able to tour the Goodwill Milgard Opportunity Center in Tacoma, Washington, where I saw first-hand all the incredible programs that Goodwill has in place attempting to get local people trained and into jobs! It was an eye-opening experience to say the least - so many incredible programs! The plus, was afterwards we were invited to their Halloween store... all Halloween and Costumes, all year!

It has been a great start to birthday month (September) already! For Labor Day weekend we went camping with friends, and were truly so lazy that I don't have anything exciting to share from it... we just sat by the river, bbq'ed, and slept in... it was a much needed opportunity to recharge for sure. …
