Being a new blogger, I am still running off a restricted WordPress.com account, but I feel it is time to really start to get my move on over to self-hosted. Who out there has made the transition from WordPress.com to WordPress.org? I would love to get your advice - I plan to do so with a combination of support from Bluehost so I can use their plugins. Advice is welcome and would be greatly appreciated!

Getting readers of course is the ultimate goal of a blogger, so how do you write a blog post that people will actually read? I think the key is realizing the world we live in is busy and over-stimulated. Keep things short and sweet, and focus on your visual content as much as your written.
