Tunnel Hill Winery is located on the South Lake Shore side of Lake Chelan. Their grounds feature a beautiful landscape with cobblestone houses that I find to be immensely charming. More info on the winery and visiting in post!
Let me start by saying that SeaFair weekend is one of my most favorite weekends of the year here in the Northwest. There is nothing more majestic than watching the Blue Angels ZOOM over Seattle with Mount Rainier in the background. However, this almost 100 degree weather forecasted for Sea Fair weekend has me a little nervous. Here is my easy 4-step list of ways to keep you and your friends safe this Sea Fair weekend. Another Lake Chelan feature - this time I am sharing one of my favorite brunch spots! Once you discover Sorrento's Ristorante you will become a regular when in Chelan, because you just can't beat the ambiance! Oh yeah... they do brunch 😉
If you are interested in a nice dinner out while visiting Lake Chelan, Campbell's Pub and Veranda is a place I would absolutely suggest checking out! You do not have to be a guest of Campbell's Resort to dine here, and the views and location are unbeatable. So is their wine list, if you ask me! 🙂
I don't know how it took us so long to discover this BEAUTIFUL winery on Lake Chelan, but I am so glad we gave them a chance! We visited Siren Song on a trip to Lake Chelan in the spring and were absolutely enamored by the ambiance, entertainment, views, and of course the wine! Month of May Recap 2017. We had the chance to go boating on Lake Washington, took TWO trips to Eastern Washington (specifically Lake Chelan and Leavenworth), and finally caught some sun! Lake Chelan is one of my favorite go-to getaways as a Washingtonian. The lake is crystal ice blue and fresh, the wineries are abundant, and so is the sun! If Western Washington's weather is giving you the blues, be sure to escape for a quick trip to Lake Chelan. We are sure to do it at least once a summer!
