The boating scene is an incredible part of the lifestyle here in the greater Seattle Area. Not only are we lucky to be surrounded by the Puget Sound, but right in the middle of our city sits Lake Union which boasts beautiful waterfront views and places to dine out. Lucky for us boaters, Lake Union has some restaurant gems that feature docks for boaters to pull up to, so you can enjoy a meal or cocktail by water. On this outing we launched our Cobalt R5 in Bellevue and motored over to Lake Union for brunch at Westward Seattle.
Car seat safety in our culture seems pretty cut and dry, and the majority of people understand it. This post contains good information on when kids should wear life jackets, and how to find the right one to fit them. Thank you for reading, and please do share with other parents out there!
The boating experience in the Puget Sound is not only beautiful, but more attainable than you would think! Many boaters with small vessels are nervous about dipping out into salt water, but with light planning and an eye on the weather, it is an absolutely doable trip! This journey was accomplished by a group of Cobalt boaters on vessels as small as a 24-footer with an open bow.
